hmmm more or less

because corruption is the salary of the dictator supporters

and big countries need this dictators to stay there

since a democracy wouldn't help as much their multinational and such

In the other way corruption doesn't help those big countries investors

sometimes it makes their live easy, and other times it really makes it very complicated

so they are playing on both sides: they help corrupted governments but ask them to do sth about corruption
